Seriously, I know the proportions are horseshit. And the hammers should probably be bigger and heavier. And Nerdanel is apparently lefthanded? What can you do.
Vaguely inspired by a B2MeM prompt about admirable traits and their opposites, but it rather went off course and ended up shameless fangirling of traditional Japanese workman clothing. I don't know why, but I adore that style of clothing to no end. I honestly think that the hakama in particular is the sexiest piece of clothing ever invented by mankind. I mean, I endured years of Kendo practice basically just because I love the clothing and armour so much. And because the Noldor with their obsession with knowledge and crafts have always been cast as sort of Japanese in my mind, I finally gave in and drew Nerdanel and Fëanor in that style. Nerdanel is wearing the ordinary, everyday indigo-dyed version while Fëanor is wearing the snow-white variant worn when crafting very special things of almost religious value. It can't be a sword since our darling Elven not-yet-couple is not yet a couple, i.e. we're looking at a time when swords were supposedly unknown. Maybe it's going to be a sickle. Sickles would be associated with Yavanna so they can totally be kind of holy among the Noldor. I mean, there's a constellation named the Sickle and everything. LALALA IN MY WORLD IT MAKES SENSE.
