So, it's that time of the year... what else can I do but wish you all a very merry Christmas (or whatever other end-of-year celebration you're having; I'm not picky ;))!
Hope yours is filled with joy and nice people and whatever you wished for this holiday season!
Personally I'm a little confused by the weather in this place (a toss-up between autumn and spring, but they call it winter here), but we had a lovely feast with the host family. Generally New Year is the big family celebration here, but my host-brother believes in "Santa-san" (a somewhat Japanised version of the Coca-cola Santa Claus), so we had a kind of Christmas party anyway
